It is an established truth that whoever listened to and heeded the call of the “Budham, Dhamman, Sangham saranam gachchhami” to protest against the then prevalent malpractices. Thousands and thousands forsook everything and followed him. He ushered in a reform through intellectual revolution. A similar miracle was wrought by Gandhiji. One and a half thousand years of slavery and suppression had left the populace emaciated, and it lacked the courage and wherewithal to take on the mighty British Empire.

A small number of satyagrahis were simply no match. But the widespread and deep resentment coalesced into the great freedom struggle. Circumstances started turning favourable, and India became independent. The present age is witnessing a spiritual-intellectual revolution. The divisive  human consciousness bound to be transformed into the unitive cosmic consciousness. Indian culture is on the threshold of becoming world culture. The emergence of a New Era is imminent.

👉 Though Inconvenient, ‘Change’ is Inevitable

The juncture of the end of night and the beginning of day is called dawn. This period is filled with unique opportunities for self-growth for the early-risers; but for those who are still half – asleep, it appears as an unwelcome guest and as a burden loaded with new responsibilities. Howsoever unpleasant, they have to rise up and attend to their daily chores. Night does not return and the day does not stop. There is no other alternative than to adjust with the change. The cosmos is in perpetual movement. All our resistance is of no avail to hold back the incessant process of change.

The foetus manages happily in the dark cell of mother’s womb, but when it is fully developed, nature pushes it out of its cozy chamber, separates it from the mother’s umbilical cord and forces it to come out in free atmosphere. In the process of progress, this change is essential and unavoidable. The time of birth is painful and inconvenient to everyone. Mother, nurse, members of the family and friends – all have to abandon their normal routine and get ready to help in whatever way they can in the process of birth. Ultimately the result of this exercise is pleasant to all.

During the present momentous transition period of change of an era, the process of elimination of the Evil and establishment of the Good in human hearts is bound to appear painful for the rigidly orthodox. Other sections of the society may also feel it inconvenient to adopt new ways of life befitting a new era. But there is no other alternative than to adopt the discipline of ushering in of the new enlightened world order that has been ordained by Nature. Once we accept this Truth and are not resistant to change, we will find that change is seed of spiritual growth for all humanity. We will discover that the very change we were fleeing from had held the good we had prayed for.

👉 Yug Nirman Yojana – A Sure Remedy for Present-day Ills

‘Yug Nirman Yojana’ (Campaign for Era - Transformation) through the medium of Gayatri Sadhana is the sure remedy prescribed by the Seer-Sage Swami Sarveswaranandji for all the ills of soul-mind-body by which mankind is afflicted in the present age. His disciple – Acharya Sriram Sharma – made Herculean efforts to implement his Master’s Plan and established the global Gayatri Mission, with its headquarters at Gayatri Teerth Shantikunj Hardwar, for the production of this wonder cure-all drug. The followers of Acharyasri, the Gayatri Parijans, are making an all – out effort to distribute this medicine (of Gayatri Sadhana) to one and all. If the existing divisive and ego-driven beliefs / traditions of the masses could be transmuted through spiritual awakening, then people, physically remaining the same, will intuitively experience the underlying Unity and Harmony of all that exists and will be rid of their mis-identity with the body.

This process of change of the era has already begun. The visible emergence of the bright future of humanity in the twenty-first century is very much linked with the success of Yug Nirman Yojana. Since its fulfillment is divinely ordained, the one thing that the parijans have to do in this transition period is to contribute their mite by uplifting and transmuting themselves through Gayatri Sadhana and then, by example, inspire others to do so. This will have the needed ripple effect, which will steadily build up the needed critical mass for initiating the process of human transformation, resulting in lasting peace and harmony on earth.

👉 Donation of time - the supreme charity

There is no dearth of monetary donations. Money, while it can enable the construction of roads and rivers, it cannot elevate the level of human consciousness. That daunting task calls for noble souls donating their time with emotional commitment.

The creation of the new era needs time, faith, devotion, and enthusiasm, and not just money. For this daunting task, all those wads of money are of no real use. The true and supreme charity is one of time donation. It is possible to donate money to a cause with stinginess and reluctance, especially if it is for reasons of ego, prestige, and social pressure, even when we don't fully believe in the cause.

Donation of our precious time, however, often comes from a place of devotion and faith in the cause. Rich and poor alike may participate in this charity of conviction. The new era needs this supreme charity, let us hope that our community will not hold anything back and donate their time in abundance!
