ЁЯФ╖ Lin-Chi was contemporary to the famous Chinese philosopher Confucius and he deserved his honor too. Confucius always used to say that God listens only to the prayers of Lin-Chi. One of his disciples, in curiosity, went to see Lin-Chi. He asked Lin-Chi about his daily routine. Lin-Chi laughed and said—I am a common farmer. I passed my day in the farm. I take my meal when am hungry. I go to sleep when feel drowsy. Why to pray separately—everything in my life is all His and is dedicated to Him only.
ЁЯФ╢ The disciple got disappointed hearing all this. He narrated this incident to Confucius. Confucius said—Son! Whose life has already become the psalm of God; he doesn’t need any kind of pomposity. True devotee calls Him with his soul, not through any external sources. The disciple learnt that the secret of devotion is in true sigh of soul, not inside any external coverings and colorings.
