Innocent nature is essential for development of mental power. One well-known English proverb describes stupidity of clever people, reflecting two contradictory forms of a personality. Only he can understand his true self, who has uniformity and harmony in thoughts and actions. Truthfulness in these two aspects only can lead him to the highest standard of behavior.
A person, who never tries to hide his own faults, naturally clears away all flaws of his character. Results of old mistakes and sins also vanish once truth prevails in our attitude and mentality. Concealed sin corrupts our mind, but once disclosed and confessed, the sin can do no harm. Deliberating over one’s own behavior again and again refines the nature making one more generous and kind. Only such a person can acquire higher spiritual powers.
