To be content is a human trait, bliss and peace are its outcomes. But unfortunately we mistake idleness and negligence to be the synonyms for contentment. Idleness and negligence are the signs of TamoGun where as Contentment is born of SatoGun
Then what does it mean to be content? To be content does not mean that we sit idle, hum to idle tunes and be blissfully unaware of realities.
To be content is to walk, tread patiently towards our goal and be immune to all the difficulties that shall obstruct us. We cannot get rid of all the thorns [difficulties] in this world; but if we are wearing the shoes of contentment, none of them will impede our progress.
Being content is to, try our utmost best for our holistic betterment, in every possible situation stand resolute; face the circumstances boldly and at all the times maintain our mental balance and peace of mind.
People try to achieve contentment by satisfying their desires, but this is the wrong way. Contentment can only be got by the elimination of desires.
