ЁЯФ╢ We are bound to endure the fruits of our actions – good or bad. Never think that you are spared from the fruits of your past actions even if the result is delayed. It is an eternal law of cause and effect; the result of your actions will certainly catch you tomorrow, if not today. Sometimes we observe delay in the result, because God wants to test whether man has learnt any lesson and realized his own duty to behave with wisdom. The man who always does good and refrains from bad actions, even without fear of punishment, has passed the test and is surely progressing towards piousness.
ЁЯФ╖ An animal can be driven in any direction with the fear of a stick. If God had forced man to choose a specific path, then human intelligence would have never developed to the level of independent thinking, and man would not have been anything more than an animal. But, God bestowed upon man the freedom to choose between good and bad actions, so that he learns to differentiate between the two.
ЁЯФ╢ Thus, he may protect himself from the results of sinful acts and may enjoy the sweet fruits of benevolent and good acts. So, God is quite justified in allotting man the freewill to do good or bad deeds, considering that man is the most wise and responsible creation on the earth. God also wanted to test man’s capability to fulfill this responsibility and to judge how perfect man is. So, according to his system, there can be a delay in justice, but the result is bound to come in the end. So perfect are His balance and plans that one has to be prepared to accept the results of one’s own actions.
